So why Thursday Night Gamer?
Well many years ago now, I had a group of friends and gamers that no matter what our life schedules were Thursday Night seemed to be the optimial time to do any sort of gaming at all. The games we played ran the gambit of things. While we mostly played Role Playing Games, we also played a variety of board games that ranged from simple to very complex.
So when I decided to start up a blog again, I knew I needed an name or identity for that blog. I thought about using my old blog name or podcast title. After a lot of thought on the matter I decided I needed something new. To that end, I started making a list of possible names. Remembering my Thursday night group, I settled on Thursday Night Gamer.
